Every year,thousands of people go on this yatra to the temple of Lord Shiva . It's very difficult journey,so many devotees use these animals to travel the tough terrain . But the way these animals are being treated is just horrible.
One video went viral where a man is seen pulling dead horse by its leg . And obviously,this caused huge outrage on social media. People are just so angry seeing this kind of cruelty.
And rightly so. Many users are saying that using animals like this for pilgrimage is wrong,and that this suffering can't be justified in the name of faith. One person wrote,“If you cannot show mercy to Gods’ creatures,your pilgrimage is hollow.” This comment is everywhere rn .
People are even tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi,asking him to take some action against this cruelty .
