So KTR just gave a very strong reply to Pawan Kalyan and honestly,the political temperature in Hyderabad is definitely rising .
On June 3,2026,K. T. Rama Rao,the BRS working president,held a press conference and he didn't hold back at all . He directly said Telangana doesn't need any patriotism lessons from Andhra's Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. His exact words were,"We need no lessons on patriotism from Pawan Kalyan. Struggles and sacrifices are not new to us."
And he backed it up with some facts too . He pointed out that while Telangana is less than 3 percent of India's landmass,it contributes around 5 percent to country's GDP. That's not small thing ah.
KTR then made it even more clear,stating,"We don’t need any kind of moral lectures or moral policing." He said they respect Kalyan as leader and artist,but trying to dominate Telangana's politics won't be accepted .
He even added a bit of Hyderabadi touch . He said if Kalyan comes to Telangana as a brother,he'll be welcomed with biryani,but if he comes with political talk,he'll get a strong reply only .
