So political season never really ends ah. Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini is already talking about 2027 Punjab elections . And his confidence level is very high .
He was speaking to party workers in Chandigarh on June 3 and basically said BJP is set to win and establish a 'double-engine' government in Punjab. Big claim to make so early.
And lot of this confidence is coming from the new Punjab BJP President,Kewal Singh Dhillon . Saini said Dhillon's experience and principles would really invigorate party's presence in the state.
And honestly,this is where they are trying to connect with voters .
Saini gave lot of praise to Punjab's history,especially in national security and agriculture . He said people there are eager for better development,more employment opportunities and transparent governance,which he feels BJP can provide.
Few key things he is pushing for:
- Saini urged party workers to intensify grassroots engagement to share BJP's development agenda.
- He highlighted transformative governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a big reason for India's growth.
- The Chief Minister believes Dhillon’s new leadership will enhance party's organizational strength.
But it wasn't just him . Other senior leaders like Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu and BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh were also present,and they all supported Saini's vision. Shows united push from the party .
The message is clear only. They want workers to go to every village and polling booth and convey party's achievements and policies. It's a long-term game they are playing.
It's a big push for sure,and they are starting early . But Punjab's political ground is very different... making such predictions so far in advance is always a gamble...
