Just saw this news coming from Malviya Nagar in Delhi and it's just horrible . massive fire at Lemon Green Restaurant on morning of June 3,2026 and so many lives lost.
The numbers are just shocking,at least 20 people have died . Twenty people ah,not a small thing. So many others are injured and local administration is trying to manage whole situation rn.
And big leaders are also reacting . Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X saying his "heart is deeply grieved" and that rescue operations are going on . He also assured best medical facilities for injured.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also called the incident "heart-wrenching" . He offered condolences to the families who lost their loved ones, saying he prays God gives them strength .
And honestly, when you see these high-level statements coming in,you know the scale of tragedy is immense.
Reports say that ten fire tenders were sent to the spot immediately . The fire was brought under control but not before causing huge damage. The worst part is hearing that some people even tried jumping from upper floors to save themselves. Just imagine that desperation .
Few things standing out clearly from this incident:
- At least 20 lives were lost in restaurant fire.
- Emergency services responded with ten fire tenders to control blaze.
- Some victims reportedly jumped from building to escape the flames.
The whole community is in shock obviously . Senior police and fire officials are there, coordinating everything and trying to figure out if more people are trapped inside .
And now same questions will start again about fire safety regulations in these crowded places . We hear about these discussions every time a tragedy like this happens.
It's a stark reminder, but it feels like we keep getting these reminders again and again . You just wonder if anything will actually change this time…
