So RCB has done it again,back-to-back IPL champions . And it's not small thing ah,even Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended team for their exceptional performance.
Senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that team truly deserved this win,and honestly,I completely agree. They showed so much resilience and amazing teamwork throughout whole season.
They got their latest title after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. That ground has become quite lucky for them it seems .
And in one video uploaded by IPL,Kumar was saying how players should get credit for being so consistent for last two years . His exact words were,"Winning back-to-back is no easy feat, and it reflects the hard work and dedication of entire team."
This is so true. One season could be fluke, but two in a row shows real character .
Venkatesh Iyer also spoke about the emotional side of it all . He said,"It felt like entire country was behind us,and that support was palpable during our matches." You could really feel that energy even watching on TV.
Few things standing out from their campaign:
- Team demonstrated remarkable consistency and secured their title through teamwork.
- Bhuvneshwar's standout season where he took 28 wickets, showing his class.
- Iyer highlighted the fans' prayers and rituals which united everyone.
Bhuvi also reflected on his own success, saying,"This season has been great, with good execution of plans leading to my success." But he acknowledged that trophy is the ultimate goal, which is what matters most .
And it's great to see players praising each other . Iyer also praised captain Rajat Patidar for his leadership and performance, which just shows how good the team environment must be rn .
Now they are celebrating this big achievement but already looking at future seasons . The main question is if they can maintain this winning momentum… it's one thing to win twice, but hat-trick would be legendary…
