Just read some really wild news coming out of Patna . full-on violent clash between students of two coaching centers,Khan Sir's institute and Gyan Bindu Coaching Centre. It's one thing to have competition, but this is something else entirely.
This happened on June 3, 2026,in the Musallahpur Haat area . Apparently it was total chaos with stone pelting, vandalism, and even people alleging there was gunfire. Local shopkeepers had to shut everything down and run for safety .
And one security guard from Khan Classes got a serious head injury in all this . He was rushed to hospital for treatment. They even vandalized coaching institute's banner. This is not small thing ah.
And honestly, this is where things get really uncomfortable . It’s supposed to be about education, right?
So Khan Sir has come forward and said he thinks this is because his coaching is getting very popular for being affordable . He’s questioning why anyone would be against accessible education for poorer students. He also said they have CCTV footage and injured guard has identified some attackers as being from rival center.
Senior police officials like Patna SSP Kartikeya K. Sharma had to come to the scene to calm things down . Police are now investigating everything .
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Injured security guard hospitalized — sustained head injury during the clash .
- Police investigating multiple complaints — both parties have filed allegations against each other.
- CCTV footage being examined — to identify individuals involved in the violence.
But the police are saying rn that it's mainly a case of physical assault . SSP Sharma mentioned that the investigation will depend lot on what the injured guard and other local residents say.
This whole coaching rivalry thing in places like Patna is getting out of hand . It feels less about teaching students and more like a business war . The pressure is just immense, not just on students but on these institutes too.
Now both sides have filed complaints against each other . With police looking at CCTV footage and taking statements,I just wonder how this is all going to end . This kind of violence in an education hub just leaves very bad taste…
