Incident happened on June 14 when Sarpanch Manmohan,also known as Lala Parashar,reportedly tried to step in during attack on truck driver . Instead of situation calming down,he himself got seriously injured . That part feels very disturbing because someone intervening to stop violence ended up becoming victim.
Police later identified accused as Yashpal Rajput and Kishore Singh Rajput . After that,on June 21,police took both suspects through town in foot march,including route near place where assault happened . Clear message was being sent in public view only.
