This Pune arms seizure story is honestly quite worrying because this is not some small knife or random fight case . Three country-made pistols and five live cartridges being found from Ladba Vasti area of Kesnand is serious thing ah.
Anti-Extortion Cell of Pune City Crime Branch carried out raid there and arrested three individuals . Police also said fourth suspect was already in custody,which makes this look like part of bigger investigation,not one isolated recovery .
And this whole action reportedly came from ongoing inquiry into arms-related case earlier registered at Parvati Police Station . During investigation,one accused,Shaikh Ahmed ,also known as Billu Sayyed , gave information about procurement of these firearms .
After that,police found links to his associates,Vaibhav Adagale and Akash alias Gaja More . They had allegedly acquired these country-made weapons from Madhya Pradesh,and that part is what makes matter more serious because it points towards possible arms movement across regions .
Few things standing out clearly in this case:

The arrested individuals have been identified as Vaibhav Raghunath Adagale (23),a resident of Kesnand,Akash alias Gaja Ashok More (19),from Vadgaon Sheri,and Suraj Vijay Kaknale (26),a resident of Wagholi . These are not very old people also,which makes it even more uncomfortable .
And tbh,when young men are allegedly getting connected to firearms from Madhya Pradesh,it raises many questions . Who is supplying these weapons,how they are moving,and how many more such pistols are already circulating quietly?
The seized weapons have now been sent for further examination . Police are trying to trace their origins and understand whether larger supply chain is involved in illegal arms distribution.
At same time,officials are also checking if arrested persons have links with other criminal activities in area . This is where public concern becomes real because illegal firearms in local pockets can turn even small disputes into deadly situations .
But bigger question is still hanging there . If three pistols and five live cartridges came out in one raid,how much more is still hidden in network…
