Just saw this interview with Madhuri Dixit Nene and it's honestly so relatable ah. Even big Bollywood stars have to deal with Gen Z slang from their kids.
She was talking about how she keeps up with all the new words and her answer was so simple and funny . She said her two sons,Arin and Ryan,are her teachers for all this contemporary language.
And she even said,"You don't have to keep up. My kids teach me like this." Which is such chill way to look at it. No need to stress about being cool,just let it happen naturally .
But the best part was when she admitted,"While coming and going... Mom,it's so rad. Mom,it's so cool. LOL and all that. I don't know half of them. I pretend to know them." This is so real . Every parent has probably done this at some point. Just nod and pretend you know what's happening.
This whole chat came up while she's getting ready for her new Netflix film Maa Behen which is coming out on June 4 .
