Man spoke to his parents before proposing to Tejasswi Prakash,and somehow that became big online debate.
In recent interview,Karan addressed criticism he faced after revealing that he consulted his family during proposal on Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill . And instead of being embarrassed or defensive in soft way,he said very clearly,"If you don't ask your parents, then who will you ask?"
And tbh,that line is exactly where whole discussion becomes bigger than just celebrity proposal . For many Indian families,marriage or proposal is not just two people deciding in isolation . Parents,family blessings,comfort level… all this still matters to lot of people.
During conversation with Siddharth Kannan,Karan looked genuinely upset with negative comments coming his way . He even said,"Those who say I shouldn't have consulted my parents,shame on you all." Strong words,but you can see where frustration is coming from .

What he also said makes sense in one way . Bringing new person into your life does not mean parents suddenly become less important . Relationship can be personal,yes,but family bond does not vanish overnight ah.
Karan also said he is not really affected by trolling,but he worries about younger generation seeing such comments and feeling ashamed to ask parents for guidance . That part actually feels more serious than celebrity gossip because online narratives do shape people slowly.
As for Tejasswi Prakash,Karan made it clear their marriage is on horizon and it is not question of if,but when . He said they will do things in way that matches their values and timing.
