Big announcement has come from Lalitpur,and honestly,₹1,766 crore is not small thing ah . Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath used public gathering at Tuvan Temple Ground to push development message for district,and also take direct political shots at previous governments .
And his main attack was on Congress and Samajwadi Party . He said earlier governments did not put proper attention on Lalitpur and lacked vision for development. His line was sharp also: "For SP, only Saifai was family,and for Congress, only the family in Delhi represented nation."
That one statement shows how much politics is mixed with development announcements here. On one side,roads,electricity,healthcare,jobs are being talked about . On other side,clear message is being sent that BJP wants to own this development story fully .
The biggest project people will notice is Government Medical College . For district like Lalitpur,better healthcare access can actually change daily life,especially for families who otherwise have to travel outside for proper treatment.
Few things standing out in this announcement:
- 221 development projects were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid for Lalitpur.
- Government Medical College,Goshala and upcoming Pharma Park were highlighted .
- Roads,electricity,essential services,employment for local youth and Har Ghar Jal Yojana were part of big pitch.
And tbh,when CM says Lalitpur suffered because of neglect under previous governments,it will connect with people who have actually lived with poor roads,power issues and weak education services for years . These are not abstract problems,these are everyday struggles.
He also spoke about women and daughters in region,especially around Har Ghar Jal Yojana and clean drinking water reaching households . That point matters because water problem silently eats up time,health and dignity in many homes,especially for women .
But at same time,announcement is one thing and delivery is another . ₹1,766 crore,221 projects,Pharma Park,Government Medical College,employment promises… all this sounds big only when work actually reaches ground .
Adityanath said his government sees all residents of Uttar Pradesh as part of larger family and wants development,security and dignity for all . He also said BJP's double-engine government is dedicated to transforming Lalitpur into model district for development.
Now real question is whether Lalitpur people will start seeing visible change in roads,hospitals,jobs and basic services soon,or whether this will become another big political speech remembered only during next election season…
