Salman Khan was dealing with Baba Siddique’s murder in October 2024,and on top of that,he had serious rib injury while still filming.
And this is not small thing ah . Losing close friend and respected politician like Baba Siddique would shake anyone,but here Salman Khan also had to come on set,perform,handle schedules,security,action work and public pressure.
Actor Vishal Vashishtha spoke to The Free Press Journal and gave pretty honest picture of what was happening during shoot . He said Salman Khan was visibly affected and not in normal state mentally or physically .
“We were shooting in very tough situations, especially for Salman sir. He was mentally and emotionally drained,and physically, he was going through a lot,” Vashishtha stated.
And when you hear that he was moving slowly and going straight for physiotherapy after scenes,it gives different image of film shoot completely . From outside people see superstar life,but inside maybe he was just pushing through pain scene by scene.
Few things standing out clearly here:

Director AR Murugadoss had also earlier mentioned that filming Sikandar had lot of difficulties . Reports say Salman Khan would often arrive late to set because of physical condition,and crew had to adapt around that,even shooting daytime scenes at night sometimes .
Vishal Vashishtha also said,“We also waited in vanity van or on set,but it was clear that something was amiss. By last day,he had improved physically,but he was still struggling,” and tbh,this line feels quite heavy because it shows improvement was there,but not comfort .
Then there is whole security angle also . Vashishtha said,“Just dealing with the amount of security around you is suffocating. It was a very difficult situation,” and that makes situation feel even more claustrophobic than normal film pressure .
But somewhere,this also shows how strange celebrity life can become . People expect performance,smile,energy,promotion,box office talk… while person may be carrying grief,pain and fear quietly behind cameras…
