Very heartbreaking news has come from west London, where fire in single-storey pavilion on New Zealand Way ended with deaths of three men . And honestly, reading that firefighters actually managed to rescue them but still could not save their lives makes whole thing feel even heavier.
London Fire Brigade said fire started shortly before 19:00 BST on Saturday . Emergency services rushed to spot, and firefighters found blaze already serious enough to need massive response.
The fire reportedly consumed over half of pavilion before it was finally brought under control by 21:25 . That is not small thing ah,especially when structure is burning and people are trapped inside.
Around 100 firefighters were involved in rescue and firefighting operation . They managed to pull out three men from burning structure, but sadly, two men were pronounced dead at scene and third later died in hospital from injuries.
Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne of London Fire Brigade shared news in very direct words: "Sadly, three people have died following a fire on New Zealand Way,White City."
