This Udaytha village school matter from Baroda cluster of Sheopur district is honestly very upsetting . Children going to primary school and then allegedly being made to wash utensils after midday meals is not small thing ah .
What has angered parents and villagers more is that whole thing reportedly came out through viral video . Once video started spreading,people began demanding inquiry and action against teacher said to be responsible.
And this is where issue becomes bigger than one video only . Allegations are that this was not isolated incident,and children were allegedly being given cleaning duties which should be handled by designated school staff .
Education Department rules and government guidelines clearly prohibit this kind of practice . Students are not supposed to do cleaning work like this because it directly goes against child rights and basic educational norms.
But school principal Dharmendra Gupta has strongly denied allegations . He called claims baseless and misleading,and said no children were asked to wash utensils,even though parents and villagers are pointing to video as evidence.
Few things standing out clearly in this case:

Surya Nagar,the Baroda cluster in-charge,also responded after concern grew . He said one staff member had been removed because student enrollment was declining,and suggested viral video may be linked to disputes going on inside school community.
And tbh,that explanation may be part of inquiry now,but it does not automatically answer parents’ main question . If children were really made to wash utensils,then who allowed it and how long was this going on?
This whole incident again shows how easily child rights can get ignored in school settings,especially in smaller places where parents may not always know what is happening daily . Now everyone is waiting for inquiry,but whether it brings real accountability or just another file closing quietly…
