And now this NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21 also got surrounded by paper leak talk because of one viral video.
But National Testing Agency (NTA) has come out clearly and said that viral video circulating on social media is completely fake . Agency also called claims in video baseless and unfounded, which is direct denial from their side.
According to NTA,the exam was conducted smoothly with strict security protocols in place . They also said proper security measures were followed throughout examination process so test integrity is not affected .
And tbh, this is where students and parents need to be very careful . In exam season, one random video can create panic in minutes, and for medical aspirants already dealing with pressure, this kind of misinformation can seriously disturb mindset .
NTA officials also stated,"The examination was conducted successfully today under comprehensive security and surveillance." That line is clearly meant to reassure candidates that exam process did not collapse because of these rumours.
Few things standing out clearly here:
- NTA said viral paper leak video is completely fake.
- Investigations have begun with Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) to trace people spreading false information.
- Agency asked students and parents to trust official channels only and avoid unverified claims.
At same time,NTA also reminded that this exam involves over 20 lakh aspirants,so even one fake claim can create huge confusion . Public trust becomes very fragile in such situations, especially when competitive exams are involved .
The agency says it is committed to transparent examination process and fair environment for candidates . Legal action side has also started now,so whoever pushed this false information may face trouble if investigation confirms their role.
But bigger worry is still there… in country where exam anxiety is already so high, how many students can really stay calm when one viral rumour starts spreading suddenly?
