Another disturbing case has come from New Orleans,and honestly,this one feels heavy because it involves pastor,children and trust being misused in worst way . Terry Reed,a suburban pastor from New Orleans,has been sentenced to 80 years in prison after conviction for sexual molestation of two boys.
And this was not some first-time allegation suddenly coming up . Court was told this latest sentencing on June 20, 2026 at state court hearing now adds to three convictions for similar crimes throughout his career . That part alone makes whole thing even more chilling .
The hearing also had emotional victim-impact statement from mother of one survivor . She spoke about betrayal,pain and how Reed had been part of her life since childhood as pastor . Imagine trusting someone like that for years,and then hearing what he did .
She described him as “an utter failure and a sorry excuse for a man,” and that line says everything about anger and heartbreak in that courtroom . Not just anger actually,deep betrayal only .
