On June 21,2026,National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) re-examination happened across 97 centers in Delhi after earlier exam was cancelled over allegations of question paper leak.
And just imagine being one of those candidates . You prepare for months,write exam once,then suddenly cancellation happens and again you have to sit with same pressure all over again . Not small thing ah.
National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted re-test and thousands of candidates appeared,hoping to secure their future in medical education . But this time,security was much tighter than usual because authorities clearly did not want any repeat of earlier controversy .
Students reaching exam centers reportedly faced multiple rounds of checking . Many said security protocols were strict,and female candidates especially had to go through enhanced scrutiny. One student even said,"We were even asked to open our hair and undergo a thorough physical check by the security personnel."
And tbh,this is where exam pressure becomes something else only . Students are already nervous about paper,rank,future,and on top of that such intense checking can make atmosphere even more tense.
Few things standing out clearly here:

The weeks before re-test were also not easy for many candidates . That line honestly says lot about mental state of students .
Another student also felt re-test first looked like opportunity,but slowly turned into source of stress . And after paper ended,many students said it was slightly tougher than original examination,with physics section being most challenging.
Parents were worried too . Outside examination center in Dwarka Sector 2,one parent said,"The re-test will delay the admission process,which will affect other alternative career plans." That concern is very real because admissions,backup options,everything runs on timeline.
But now students are left waiting again,after already going through uncertainty once . One cancelled exam,one re-test,extra security,stress,self-doubt… and still their future is hanging on result that has to come next…
