And just imagine that scene for second. People gathered late Friday night,and suddenly gunfire starts from SUV . Police first got alert about one gunshot victim,but after reaching there,they realised attack was much bigger than that.
Among wounded,two men were reported to be in critical condition . Others suffered different injuries and were taken to multiple hospitals across city. Initial police reports said shooting looked indiscriminate,with victims ranging in age from 17 to 47.
And tbh,this is where whole thing feels even more painful. This was not just some random night,it was tied to Juneteenth,a day marking emancipation of enslaved African Americans . Violence landing on that day only makes it feel even more cruel.
