This Pushpa 2 stampede case is again back in news,and honestly,it feels heavy because this is not some usual celebrity court update . One woman lost her life,one nine-year-old boy suffered severe brain injuries,and now every court move around Allu Arjun is getting watched closely.
Allu Arjun has reportedly skipped his scheduled appearance at Nampally Court in Hyderabad on June 22,2026 . Instead,his legal counsel represented him during hearing . He has also requested permission to attend court virtually,which clearly shows this matter is being handled very carefully from legal side.
But whole case goes back to December 4, 2024,when stampede happened during premiere of Pushpa 2 . Reports say Allu Arjun's unannounced visit to Sandhya Theatre led to massive crowd surge outside venue,and then situation went completely out of control.
And tbh,this is where fan craze and event management both start looking scary .
- Allu Arjun named as Accused No. 11 in larger case involving multiple parties .
- Theatre management of Sandhya Theatre has also been included in accused list.
- Financial support was reportedly extended to victim's family by Allu Arjun.
After incident,legal action started and Allu Arjun was initially arrested,but later got interim and anticipatory bail . His father,producer Allu Aravind,also pledged donation of ₹2 crore to support victim's family . That support matters,but it still cannot undo what happened that night ah .
As of now,neither Allu Arjun nor his representatives have publicly commented on latest court summons . And that silence itself is making people discuss more,because this is one of those cases where public emotion is already very strong.
On work side,Allu Arjun is currently filming new project directed by Atlee,with Deepika Padukone and Rashmika Mandanna also linked to it . Reports also suggest he may collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj in future,but no official announcement has been made yet .
And honestly,this whole situation is uncomfortable because one side has superstar image,massive fan following,films and future projects . Other side has family dealing with death and serious injury after what was supposed to be movie celebration only…
So now question is not just about court appearance or virtual attendance . It is also about who really takes responsibility when star power pulls huge crowds and system fails to control them…
