Finally some good news coming from Pune Rural Police,they have arrested members of one inter-district dacoit gang . This gang was apparently responsible for a whole string of armed robberies on highways and in homes .
And this was not small thing ah . Officials are reporting they solved 20 serious cases and recovered stolen property worth about ₹25 lakh . operation was led by the Local Crime Branch and Daund Police .
For past six months,this gang was creating terror in Pune Rural and Ahilyanagar districts . Their whole method was to target isolated houses or people travelling late at night . And reports say they were extremely violent,assaulting victims and threatening them with deadly weapons .
And tbh,this is where situation turned completely dark .
The whole thing apparently exploded on the night of June 10,when these armed robbers hit five different locations in one go . This created a huge panic in the community and forced police to respond quickly. Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill formed six teams to tackle this issue.
Few things standing out in this case:

- They recovered gold,silver,and other valuables worth ₹25 lakh.
After checking crime patterns and CCTV footage,police were able to track down the suspects . On June 13,they conducted raids at same time in different locations across Pune and Ahilyanagar districts,and arrested key members . Names released are Ganesh Mangesh Kale,Vishal Hambardya Kale,and Kishor Ravan Bhosale,along with juvenile accomplice.
And during questioning,they confessed to so many crimes . Just in Pune Rural district only,they admitted to four dacoities,six robberies,and five house break-ins . The investigation also connected them to more crimes in Ahilyanagar.
But the work is not over yet . Authorities are now focused on finding remaining gang members,including one guy Pravin alias Pappu Lala Bhosale,who is absconding and has a serious criminal history.
It’s a relief they caught most of them,but it makes you think about the fear people in those areas must have been living with . And with one main guy still out there,you just wonder when it will feel completely safe again…
