This Badnawar theft case is honestly sounding like full planned operation, not some random break-in . ₹50 lakh worth valuables stolen from senior BJP leader Rajesh Agarwal's house is not small thing ah,so obviously whole matter got lot of attention.
Incident happened on June 3,when unidentified intruders entered Agarwal's home on Jawahar Marg . They allegedly took gold and silver ornaments, religious idols and cash totaling ₹1.5 lakh . Just imagine waking up to that kind of loss from own house.
And after theft, police formed Special Investigation Team under supervision of ASP Parul Velapurkar and SDOP Arvind Singh Tomar . From what is coming out,CCTV footage became main turning point in case .
Police reportedly checked movements around area and tracked one suspicious vehicle . More strange part is that vehicle's number plate had been altered while it was moving through different locations . That detail itself makes case feel more organized than ordinary house theft .
Few key things in this case:
- Police arrested five individuals,including a woman,linked to crime.
- Stolen property worth approximately ₹40 lakh was recovered.
- Two suspects are still at large and police are searching for them .
During interrogation, arrested suspects reportedly confessed to involvement . After that, police recovered around 300 grams of gold jewelry, nearly two kilograms of silver articles, religious idols and cash . So recovery is big,but still not full ₹50 lakh amount.
And tbh,the Rajasthan and Gujarat angle makes it even more serious . Police tracked suspects across state lines, which means this was not just local-level hiding and running . There was movement, planning and attempt to escape attention.
Senior officers have praised investigation team and rewards have also been announced for members involved . Fair enough, because catching five suspects and recovering approximately ₹40 lakh in such case is major progress.
But still, two suspects are outside rn . And until they are caught, one part of story is still hanging there… how exactly this gang picked house, planned entry, and moved with stolen goods without getting caught immediately?
