Just saw new essay from Catherine,Princess of Wales and it's actually quite deep . She wrote it after her recent trip to Italy,and it’s all about early childhood education and problems in our "increasingly digitalised world".
And this was her first international engagement after her cancer treatment,which is big deal in itself . It really shows her commitment to this cause. She went to Reggio Emilia in Italy to meet educators and families and see how they approach things with young kids.
But the main point she's making is about human connection . She’s worried that we are losing it,and that need for genuine connection has never been more critical than it is rn. And she's not wrong ah.
She shared one story about a parent at her own children's school who asked her a question: "If we could all do just one thing, what would it be?" Her answer was just one thing only,"To prioritise love."
And honestly,that’s such a simple but very powerful thought.
She is really focusing on a few key ideas here:
