Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru being named third most family-friendly airport in world for 2026 is not small thing ah,especially when global airports are being compared.
This ranking has come from AttractionTickets.com,a UK-based travel experience provider . And KIA being one of only two Indian airports on this global list says something about how Bengaluru airport is trying to make travel less stressful for families.
In rankings,KIA came third,after Helsinki-Vantaa Airport at first spot and Singapore's Changi Airport at second . That is quite a strong company to be in,because Changi Airport itself is treated like gold standard by many travellers.
And score also looks solid . KIA got 18.6 points out of maximum 20,which basically means airport did well across family-friendly facilities and passenger comfort areas.

AttractionTickets.com assessed over 140 airports worldwide for this list . Experts collected data across nine key parameters,including baby-changing facilities,stroller hire options and Wi-Fi quality for streaming . Each airport was scored out of 20 based on these points.
And this is where Bengaluru airport’s recognition feels bigger than just one trophy or ranking . Family travel can become chaotic very quickly,especially with small kids,elderly people or passengers who need extra support . Small facilities can reduce big stress.
