One big theft case from Indore is now getting attention, and honestly,it feels more shocking because accused was not outsider but showroom employee only . Police arrested 19-year-old Lucky Borasi from Patel Motors showroom just two days after complaint was filed .
Incident reportedly happened on June 17,when valuables worth around ₹2.5 crore went missing from showroom's secure area . Operations Manager Surendra Choudhary alerted police after noticing that high-value items, including an iPhone and gold jewelry, were missing.
And this is where trust factor makes whole thing more uncomfortable . When employee gets access to secure area, business naturally assumes some basic honesty will be there . But here, police say that same trust was allegedly misused.
After complaint, team led by Lasudia police station in-charge Rajkumar Yadav started checking CCTV footage and technical evidence . From there, police identified Lucky Borasi and detained him quickly .
During interrogation,Borasi reportedly confessed to theft . Police say he allegedly stole valuables to fund expensive lifestyle, which is honestly not small thing ah when value involved is ₹2.5 crore .
Few things standing out in this case:
- Police arrested 19-year-old Lucky Borasi just two days after crime was reported .
- Recovered valuables included an iPhone, gold chhatra and diamond crown.
- Police are now checking if he has links to other crimes.
Among stolen and recovered items, police mentioned gold chhatra,diamond-studded crown weighing approximately 1.426 kilograms,12 silver coins and a motorcycle . Total recovered goods have been valued at ₹2.5 crore .
And tbh, this whole thing shows how one insider can create massive damage if security depends too much on trust and not enough on checks . Showrooms dealing with expensive items really cannot take employee access casually .
Police investigation is still going on,and they are probing whether Borasi was involved in any other criminal activities too . For now,one question stays hanging there… was this just one impulsive theft,or was there more going on behind scenes…
