Gurbhej Singh,aged 26,died on North Road in London,and now Navjot Singh,a 20-year-old Indian national,has been charged with murder .
According to Metropolitan Police,incident happened in early hours of June 10,2026,on North Road,near its junction with Dormers Wells Lane . Paramedics reached and gave immediate medical attention,but Gurbhej succumbed to his injuries at scene .
And that detail itself feels heavy . Public road,early morning,serious stabbing,and then someone just not making it despite help reaching there.
Police said Navjot Singh was arrested shortly after incident . He has been charged with murder,grievous bodily harm with intent,and possession of an offensive weapon . Not small charges ah.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on June 21 and has been remanded in custody . Now he is waiting for scheduled hearing at Old Bailey .
