Another ugly road rage case has come from Gurugram, and honestly, this one is scary because it happened on busy stretch only . Two BBA students allegedly assaulted one driver and damaged his car just because of right of way issue.
Incident happened on Sohna Road, between Sohna Road and Rajiv Chowk, where victim was driving and then came across speeding Scorpio SUV . As per reports, person driving Scorpio wanted victim to give space on road immediately .
But when victim could not do that quickly, situation went completely out of hand . And this is where normal traffic argument turned into full violence.
Accused have been identified as Parth and Paras ,both 22 years old and residents of upscale Vipul World locality in Gurugram . They allegedly got out of vehicle, attacked driver and smashed windows of his car with sticks.
Video of whole incident was recorded and then spread fast on social media . Public anger was obvious because this is not small thing ah,people are literally getting beaten on roads over ego and impatience .
Few things standing out clearly in this case:
- Two BBA students,Parth and Paras ,were arrested within hours.
- Dispute reportedly started over right of way on Sohna Road.
- Scorpio SUV was seized and investigation is still ongoing under relevant laws .
Witnesses said attackers also created panic among other commuters nearby . Imagine being stuck in traffic and suddenly seeing people with sticks breaking car windows and assaulting someone… that kind of fear stays.
Gurugram Police reportedly used CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts to track them down within hours, which was much needed here . Case has been filed under relevant legal provisions and probe is continuing rn.
And honestly, this incident says a lot about how aggressive road behaviour is becoming in Gurugram . Fast cars, big egos,no patience, and one small road issue becoming violent in seconds… how safe are ordinary commuters supposed to feel now…
