On June 21, 2026,Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu used International Day of Yoga stage to announce permanent yoga centres in both Swarna Grama and the Ward Secretariats.
He spoke about yoga like something that should become daily habit,not just something people do once in year for photos . His vision was of healthy,wealthy,and spiritually enriched Andhra Pradesh,and tbh that is very ambitious framing.
Naidu said yoga can improve physical and mental well-being,and urged citizens to bring it into regular routine . He was also participating in celebrations alongside renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev ,which gave event bigger public attention.
And this is where government side of plan becomes clear. State government will appoint district and mandal-level officials to oversee yoga programs . An expert committee will also be formed to develop standardized yoga protocols,so practice can be made accessible and useful for citizens.

He also spoke about integrating yoga into Sanjeevani project,which is meant to improve health of population . His larger idea seems to be combining technology with spirituality so people of Andhra Pradesh can live healthier lives .
