Beating Australia 2-0 in World Cup without Christian Pulisic is not small thing ah.

Balogun also looked very clear about his role . He said,"I want to be dangerous... if I can force an error that gives us the lead,then for me it’s like a goal as well." And that mindset was visible,even when he was not directly putting ball in net .
What made US performance interesting was not just scoreline,it was how comfortable they looked after losing Christian Pulisic from lineup . Usually teams get nervous without star player,but here Pepi and Balogun kept moving,kept pressing,and Australia never really got calm control.
And tbh,this win now creates very different feeling around United States in tournament . If they can look this organised without Pulisic,then what happens when he comes back… or what if this new setup gives Pochettino even more selection headache?
