This Mahidpur,Madhya Pradesh case is honestly looking bigger with every new detail coming out . One man,Balu Singh Vaniya,is now in police custody and questioning has started after local court remanded him.
Police say Vaniya allegedly cheated many people of ₹25 lakh by claiming he was relative of Director General of Police (DGP) and promising them jobs in police department . And if this allegation is true,then it is not small thing ah,because using police name itself makes people trust faster.
But matter did not stop at ₹25 lakh only . As new allegations came out,total amount allegedly defrauded has now gone up to ₹38 lakh . That jump itself shows why police are taking his residence and office under serious checking now .
Investigators are reportedly looking through his residence and office to find evidence and relevant documents . In such fraud cases,papers,phone records,payment trails… these things usually tell bigger story than accused person’s words.
Few things standing out clearly here:
- Vaniya has seven prior fraud cases registered against him at Mahidpur police station.
- Two additional complaints have surfaced and are currently under investigation.
- Police expect more revelations during remand.
And tbh,seven previous fraud cases is not some small background detail . When someone already has that kind of record,then fresh allegations automatically become more serious in eyes of police and public.
Recently,authorities also received two additional complaints against him . If those complaints are confirmed,charges may increase further and this whole case may become even more messy.
At same time,Mahidpur police were also dealing with another disturbing case separately . They arrested Kamal,who had allegedly been evading arrest for nearly two months after kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor.
Victim was located in Bhopal,and Kamal was arrested after coordinated effort between Mahidpur police team and Cyber Cell . He was later presented before Mahidpur court and remanded to local sub-jail .
So on one side,police are digging into alleged job fraud using DGP connection claims,and on other side,they have caught accused in serious minor assault case . Both cases are different,but both leave same uncomfortable feeling about how many people were waiting for justice quietly…
